Chippa ease relegation fears as Pirates widen the gap. 

Chippa United eased relegation fears with a 3-0 win over Richards Bay, while Orlando Pirates extended their lead at the top after thrashing Marumo Gallants 3-0. Durban City beat TS Galaxy 2-0, Golden Arrows defeated Magesi 2-0 and Sekhukhune United climbed to third with a 2-0 victory over Orbit College. Polokwane City and Siwelele shared a goalless draw. 

Proteas maintain perfect record at T20 World Cup after thumping New Zealand.

The Proteas chased down 176 with ease as captain Aiden Markram smashed an unbeaten 86 off 44 balls, supported by David Miller’s . Marco Jansen starred earlier with career-best figures of 4-40, restricting New Zealand to 175-7 despite a 74-run stand between Mark Chapman  and Daryl Mitchell . South Africa sealed victory in the 18th over, strengthening their bid to top the group and qualify for the Super 8s.

Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund both win as Bundesliga title race heats up.

Harry Kane hit a brace to reach 500 career goals as Bayern beat Werder Bremen 3-0, with Leon Goretzka adding the third. Dortmund stayed close with a 4-0 win over Mainz, Serhou Guirassy scoring twice. Stuttgart edged FC Koln 3-1, Hoffenheim, Frankfurt and Leverkusen all won 3-0, 3-0, and 4-0 respectively. HSV edged Union Berlin 3-2 in a thriller, holding on despite a late scare.
