Serena listed as eligible to return on 22 February. 

Serena Williams has been listed by the ITIA as eligible to return to tennis from 22 February 2026. She rejoined the anti-doping testing pool late last year, sparking speculation, though she denied planning a comeback. Her last match was at the 2022 US Open and while fans are hopeful, she has not confirmed any return to the women’s tour.

SMSA steps up with upgraded ticketing system as FNB Stadium enters peak football period. 

SMSA debuted its new #MyTicket system at last month’s Kaizer Chiefs vs Golden Arrows clash, aiming to curb fraud and improve stadium access. Despite minor glitches, CEO Bertie Grobbelaar said the test achieved its main goal blocking fake tickets. The system introduces two scanning points and rotating QR codes to prevent cloning, ensuring safer, faster entry. SMSA believes this upgrade will stop thousands of unticketed fans from slipping through turnstiles, especially during high-demand fixtures like the Soweto Derby.
