Chicken Tortilla Wrap with Amapelepele-Spiced Fries

Ingredients

  • Tortilla wraps
  • Mayonnaise
  • Lettuce (shredded)
  • Red onion (sliced)
  • Bell peppers (sliced)
  • Tomatoes (sliced)
  • Cheese (grated)
  • Chicken fillet

Amapelepele Spice Blend (for chicken & fries):

  • Chip Spice
  • Smoked Paprika
  • Chicken Spice
  • Spice o Seasoning
  • A bit of oil (for mixing)

  • Chips or fries

Cooking Instructions

1. Prep the Spice Blend

  • In a small bowl, combine Chip Spice, Smoked Paprika, Chicken Spice, and Spice o Seasoning.
  • Add a bit of oil to form a paste and mix until smooth.

2. Marinate & Cook Chicken

  • Rub the spice mixture generously over the chicken fillet.
  • Air-fry at 180–200°C until cooked through and lightly crisped (about 15–20 minutes depending on size).

3. Warm Your Tortillas

  • Microwave each tortilla for about 30 seconds to make it soft and pliable.

4. Build the Wrap

  • Spread mayonnaise over each warm tortilla.
  • Layer with lettuce, red onion, bell peppers, tomatoes, and cheese.
  • Slice the cooked chicken and add it as the final layer.

5. Make the Fries

  • Cook or reheat your chips/fries.
  • Toss with the remaining Amapelepele Spice Blend while hot.

6. Serve & Enjoy

  • Roll the tortilla tightly and slice if needed.
  • Serve with a side of fire-kissed fries and let that flavor speak for itself.
